Hi I'm Eliza

I was born and raised in Utah. I am serving a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In high school I was a captain for my lacrosse team and loved it. I attend college and am studying Anthropology. I love learning about people and cultures. I hope to study in either Africa or South America. One of my greatest dreams is to be a great mother and wife. I would also love to travel around Europe.

Why I am a Mormon

The most obvious reason of why I'm a Mormon is because I was born into this religion. I grew up with this gospel and watched my parents live it. As I matured, I began to gain a testimony of my own. God has seen me through some tough times in my life. I've had the opportunity to pray when I've felt alone, discouraged, angry, upset, etc. and I have felt his love and comfort. Through reading the Book of Mormon multiple times, I have gained a testimony of its truthfulness. I am able to draw parallels to my own life, which gives me guidance and comfort. Without my faith, testimony, religion, and family, I am nothing. These things make up my being and I am so grateful for them. I love the gospel. I love my God. I love my family.

How I live my faith

The summer after high school I was called into Primary to teach the 6 year olds. I loved it. After New Years, I was put in with the 3 year olds. It has been an amazing experience teaching those innocent children. I love seeing their eagerness to serve and pray. I enjoy teaching and singing songs with them. They are great examples to me, even at their young age. Now I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I get to study and teach everyday. I live my faith by continually striving to be like my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I read the scriptures daily and pray to my Father in Heaven always.
