Hi I'm Victoria

I am from Utah. I love sports and service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a soon-to-be missionary. I found God when I was fourteen although I was already a member. I love to try lots of different things and experiences. Mostly I swim and play water polo. I love to listen to music and cook too. I am going to school before my mission to Honduras. History, psychology and art are my favorite subjects.

Why I am a Mormon

The first time I read the Book of Mormon it was simply to beat my dad to the end of it. I had been lost for awhile. However, at some point I slowed down and found myself actually reading the book and I felt something. I prayed. I didn't have a major epiphany or revelation. But I did feel that what I read is true. I felt happy and I as I did as Alma asks, which is to test what God says to see if it is good, I found that it was good. Little did I know that life would get a lot harder soon after. God has been with me through everything. He made me whole. I have been healed, strengthened, and enlightened by God. He has also taught me that even if we don't know the purpose before we do everything-we simply need to trust Him. I am a Mormon because I know that God loves His children and has not abandoned them. He has given us a way home through the Atonement and Jesus Christ. He has trusted men on earth to be his servants to have His power, the Priesthood. Women are created after our Heavenly Mother just as we were created from a Heavenly Father and we support our brethren. I am a Latter Day Saint because I know that God loves His me and I can show my love by obedience because I have never regretted following my Savior.

How I live my faith

I was Young Women laurels class president before graduating high school and now I teach the 5-6 year old class in Primary. It was a great experience that taught me how to organize people and activities. I live my faith by trying to be like Christ. I have learned how to love like Christ, serve like Christ, and forgive like Christ.
