Hi I'm Chandler

I love to travel. I can't wait to attend Cornell. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played hockey all my life and love the sport. I greatly enjoy skiing, hiking and relaxing on the lake with my friends. I am currently serving 2 years in the Colorado Denver South mission, and after returning home will be studying finance and commercial real estate.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but varied in my attendance. Eventually I realized that my life was simply happier when I was committed to the gospel. My life was equally complex and challenging, but the blessings I received allowed me to manage the trials with more ease. I have a testimony that this church is true, and that it can bring genuine joy into your life. I have experienced so many spiritually uplifting moments that have helped me heal from surgeries, tackle life-changing decisions, and feel comfort in times of need. I am grateful for the opportunity to repent of my sins, feel complete forgiveness from the Lord, and have my guilt washed away. I know that Heavenly Father loves us unconditionally, and that His compassion will always comfort us in times of need. No matter who you are or what you've done, He is waiting for us with open arms.

How I live my faith

Before going on my mission I enjoyed teaching some of the elderly members of our ward with my home teaching companion. I pray and read the scriptures daily, and often engage in fasting. Service is a great pleasure and visiting the temple is also wonderful.
