Hi I'm Maria

I grew up in Switzerland. I worked as a Primary School teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Maria and I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I always loved music. I play the piano, the guitar, the ukulele and the drums. I love my family and friends and I love spending as much time with them as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

The most important thing about the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that we find out for ourselves that it is true, that Heavenly Father loves us and that we can return back into Heavenly Father's presence through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Even if you grow up in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints you will come to a point in your life when you need to find out for yourself if it is true or not. At the age of 18 I came to that point and I decided to live an ordinary life as everyone else. A lot of bad things happened to me and I made a lot of wrong decisions. Although I went through a really hard time, I realized more and more that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and even if I made wrong choices, Heavenly Father still loved me. Finally Heavenly Father showed me the way back on the path which leads back into his presence. Since that time I decided to be a witness of the Lord Jesus Christ and to bear my testimony to all the world of this wonderful sacrifice which he made and that through this sacrifice we have the chance to be forgiven for our wrong-doings and start a new life. Jesus Christ died for us because he loves us!

How I live my faith

As a disciple of Jesus Christ I try to do my best every day to follow him. I recently returned from serving a mission in New Zealand and as soon as I arrived back at home the church called me to be a missionary in my home ward. This means that I go visiting people with our local sister missionaries and I support them and the people they teach in everything they need.
