Hi I'm Alex Hibbard

I grew up in Texas. I'm currently serving a mission in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. I love music and soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission for two years for the purpose of helping others. I love new experiences and jump into things with both feet. I plan on going to college after my mission and being an EMT at the same time. I love helping others even if it makes me have to go out of my way to do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this Gospel. But I never really knew it was true. Something happened in my life where I began to question not only the LDS religion, but God himself. After a long time I began speaking to a friend who was active in the church. After a long time and a lot of questions I ended up acting in faith and coming to church again to give it and God a try. When I did, I realized that even if this church wasn't true, it has good fruits. Its way of living is extremely healthy. Its way of treating others is extremely good. Its faith in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father is very strong. So eventually I decided that I would follow its standards. Eventually I began to realize that others who had gone through horrible experiences in their lives and lost their faith or lost their hope, I realized they needed that. And because of what I went through I figured I could be one of those people to help them. So I decided on going on a mission. Eventually on my mission I ended up praying about the Book of Mormon to know if it is the word of God. When I did, my answer came. But I know that it was because I was acting on my faith and that I was trusting in God to give me that answer that I was able to get it. That is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission... I also talk to people openly about how the church has blessed me and my family. My goal is not to "Make someone Mormon" but instead is to help them develop a closer relationship to our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. Everyone has something in common and everyone can use the Lords help. So I chose to help others by serving this Mission. For two years I do nothing but meet new people and invite them to act in faith and develop a better understanding of why you're here, where you're going after this life, and where we came from. These questions are some that bothered me for a very long time. By trusting in the Lord and acting on my faith I live the standards my Heavenly Father has given me.
