Hi I'm Greg

I am a husband and a father of six wonderful children. I am an attorney by profession, and I love music and sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wonderful wife and I have been happily married for more than 29 years, and we have 6 wonderful children--four girls and two boys. My wife and I met while singing in the men's and women's choirs at a local university. I love singing and have been a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for more than 9 years. It has been a great experience. My favorite concert (so far) was singing with James Taylor. I also enjoy tennis, scuba diving, and movies. I have practiced law at a private law firm for over 23 years, and my law practice focuses on protecting intellectual property. Before I was married, I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) in France. I spent most of my time in the suburbs of Paris, but I also served in a small town in southern France called Bergerac and in a city on the northern coast called Le Havre. It was a great experience, and I met many wonderful people there. I have a strong interest in law and politics (but no aspirations to political office). I love spending time with my family and look forward to becoming a grandfather.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, as is the Bible, and that the Book of Mormon is another sacred testament of Jesus Christ. It teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ in purity and simplicity, and its teachings have brought me closer to God. I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith, Jr. was a prophet of God who, like Stephen, saw "the heavens opened, and the Son of man [Jesus] standing on the right hand of God." (Acts 7:56.) I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes me a better person, provides opportunities for service and growth, and blesses my family. I am a Mormon because sacred ordinances available in holy temples of the church allow husband and wife to continue together through the eternities with their faithful children and other family members. I am a Mormon because I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ, restored to the Earth in these latter days. I cherish my membership in this church.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for more than 9 years and love bringing joy and comfort to others through the gift of sacred music and other good music. I have served in my church in many other capacities, including service as a teacher of children, youth, and adults, directing church choirs, playing the piano for a children's organization, helping people do genealogical research, and serving in various leadership roles. I try to live as a good Christian in my professional life as well as my private life.
