Hi I'm Greg

I grew up in Viroqua Wisconsin. I'm a weekend sound engineer for live bands & play guitar. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 great kids. I love music. I play guitar in several cover bands and run live sound. I also like running and have run lots of 5k and 10k races.

Why I am a Mormon

I was 18 years old, just confirmed an adult member of the Catholic faith and wanted more from religion and faith. I did not want to become a priest because I wanted a family. So I began to think about life in general. I met my future wife, who was a member and we started to date. For our first Christmas together I got her a watch, she gave me the Book of Mormon. Her gift has outlasted and surpassed what I gave her. As I read it, so much of what I had been taught became so much more clearer in my mind. It was like pieces of the puzzle that came together. It built upon what I had learned. I was baptized a few months before my 21st birthday. Within that same year, my mother was baptized also. My faith and personal relationship with My Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, are what have sustained me and guided me in my life.

How I live my faith

I've served in lots of positions within the LDS faith. I've helped with everything from the congregations membership and finance record keeping to a leader in the adult mens group. My youngest son and I are home teachers and love to visit with families and share gospel messages.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Greg
The greatest part about the gospel and the Book of Mormon, is that anyone can know for themselves. It's personal and not something that can be bought or some test that you must take. Read it the Book of Mormon, and think about it during quiet times. And listen, listen to your heart. Show more Show less
