Hi I'm Robert Millward

I'm from Arizona. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Robby and I am 18 years old. I have two older sisters, one little half-sister, an older step-sister, three older step-brothers, my mom and step-dad, and my dad. Right now, I am in McAllen Texas serving a mission for 2 years. I will be speaking Spanish and English down there on the south tip of Texas. For the last 8 years, I earned money by mowing lawns in my neighborhood. I played football and ran track in high school. After my mission, I will be attending BYU and plan on probably going into the medical field as a career. I love all sports and play as many as I can as often as I can. My friends and family mean a lot to me and I will do anything to make them happy. I love being outdoors. I love my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this church. I believe that the Book of Mormon is true and the prophet Thomas S. Monson is a true, living prophet just like the prophets of the old times like Moses and Abraham. I am a Mormon because I believe it and not just because my parents are Mormon. If I didn't believe that this is the true church, I would definitely not be here in McAllen, Texas away from my family and friends and regular life for the next two years. I do believe this church is true, however. I believe that Jesus Christ loves all of us and he wants us to be happy and be able to return to live with Him again someday. I am a Mormon because I know for myself that this is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being involved in my church. I was the youth leader for the 12 -13, 14 - 15, and 16-18 year old young men. Now I am exercising my faith by serving a mission. On July 23rd, I left my comfortable home and headed to Mexico City for 6 weeks for missionary and language training. I am now in Palm View, Texas as part of the Texas McAllen Mission and I am speaking Spanish. Everyday, I study the gospel of Jesus Christ and help others come to know about Christ and His gospel and the blessings and happiness that comes from it. I have been apart of youth committees to plan big activities for all the youth in the stake. There are families in my ward, or neighborhood, that me and my father home teach, this is where we go to there house and share with them a spiritual or helpful message and then help out with anything they need. As a priesthood holder, I can give blessing to those who may be sick or need comfort. I live my faith by obeying God's commandments.
