Hi I'm Ned

I grew up in Montana, Graduated from BYU, raised a family in Utah, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Montana, served a mission to Southern California. Enrolled in BYU, Got Married, Graduated from BYU, helped to raise five children, retired from BYU, Serving a senior couples mission for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have served in many youth and adult leadership positions and taught youth and adult religion classes. I enjoy working with family history and genealogy and learning about my English ancestors and serving in the temple.

Why I am a Mormon

My paternal great grand parents and maternal grand parents were converts from England. I have their written testimonies of the truthfulness off this church and the gospel it teaches. I have heard other of my ancestors speak of their testimonies. I have my own testimony of the truthfulness of Christs Church here on this earth. I know I lived with my Heavenly Father in a premortal existence that he loves me and that he sent me here to prove myself worthy to return back to his presence some day. I know that Jesus is our Savior and redeemer and his dying on the cross for me shows his complete love for me. I know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God in this the Latter days and that we have always had Prophet to lead Christs Church on this earth since Joseph Smith. I know the Lord restored the organization of his ancient church, complete with Prophets and Apostles in this the dispensation of the fullness times. I know if I live my life according to the precepts and commandments that I have been taught I can live with my Father in Heaven when I have finished this mortality here on this earth.

How I live my faith

I try to be of service each day to my fellow brother and sisters of my Heavenly Father. it is important to me to attend church each week to renew my baptismal covenants and to fellowship with the saints that I may keep my self strong in the faith and focused on the spiritual my spiritual welfare. Serving in leadership roles or teaching the gospel strengthens my own testimony and lets me serve others.
