Hi I'm Zach

I'm from Holladay, Utah, I'm an avid cross country runner, I love Mountain biking and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an 18 year old who loves the outdoors. Being from Utah I have a vast array of places where I can go running, mountain biking and hiking, simply enjoying the wonderful creations around me. I also like to participate in 5k races during the summer and am constantly trying to improve my running abilities. I plan on attending UVU in Utah to become a firefighter. The medical field is awesome and I can't wait to start a new path in life!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. My parents never forced me to go to church or to read my scriptures but rather they gave me opportunities to discover the gospel of Jesus Christ and then to experience it by living what I had learned. When my Grandmother past away from cancer I had again had an opportunity to discover what the Church's beliefs were about the after life. I discovered through reading the Book of Mormon and by praying that life continues after this life and that there is much more. I also learned that because Jesus Christ rose from the dead we as well will rise again and will be able to be with the loved ones we have lost.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve everyone around me. There are always opportunities to serve our neighbors or even random strangers and it's always a joy to see someone's face brighten up after helping them. I've had lots of experiences in my life that help me be a firm believer in acts of random kindness. Things like holding the door open, saying hi or even helping someone push there car to the gas station can have a huge impact in that persons day. I also live my faith by doing the small things like reading my scriptures and praying to try and become a better person everyday.
