Hi I'm Ashley May Foster

I'm nineteen. I'm the third of five children. I finished my Associates Degree in one year. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently working as a lifeguard and sometimes an ice cream scooper. I'm going on a mission to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have finished my Associates of science degree and will get my bachelors when I return from my mission. I love my family. I love to read. I love music, I play the flute and the piano. And I love the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. My parents are strong members of the church with strong testimonies. I decided for myself that I knew the church was true when I read the Book of Mormon all the way through when I was 12. I knelt down in the middle of my room on a pillow in the middle of the night with all the lights off and I prayed. I wanted to talk to God like I had heard so many other people tell me about. I asked him if this church was true and I had this strong feeling of peace and of warmth and love. I knew it was true. Since then I have built on this testimony. Last year my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I prayed to the lord every night. I poured out my soul to him, I told him about my fears and my worries as well as my gratitude. I leaned on him when nobody else could understand. He was always there for me. I know He always will be. I love the Lord and His church because of that. I know the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints is true.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I serve my family at every opportunity. I hang pictures of the Lord through out my home to invite him in. I listen to uplifting music. I speak with clean language. I try my best to be patient. I pray every night and morning. I completely trust the lord and I honestly tell him everything. I read my scriptures for twenty minutes a day. I dress modestly. I am considerate of others. I keep others in my prayers. And I love the Lord.
