Hi I'm Dianna

I'm a 15 year old hispanic girl, Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a cheerleader, a choir girl, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church, I was baptized on June 14th,2014. I am a junior in high school and I want to achieve big things in my life. I am an active choir member at my high school and a cheerleader, I love to exercise and I am mostly a positive person who sees the best in people. I have two older sisters and a mom and a dad, not to mention I have my two dogs!!! I also really love to listen to music and singing is my passion. And I am the only one in my family who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up catholic but unfortunately it wasn't the right church for me. So I began looking for other religions and once I found the LDS church I knew it was right for me. I started researching on my own but It was hard to learn on my own so a friend ( who is a member ) helped me out. I started to take missionary lessons, reading the book of mormon, praying, living the standards, and going to church. As soon as I started doing so, I knew the church was true and my testimony started becoming stronger. After six months of this, I finally got baptized on June 14th,2014 (this is one of the most important days of my life) I'm happy and proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. I know that my heavenly father loves me and is creating a plan for me, Jesus Christ is my savior and I love him . I honestly don't know where I would be in my life if I never asked for help in the first place. I love the gospel from this church and it's helped me so much and everyday it makes me a stronger and better person. I am thankful for where I've came in my life from this gospel and I can't wait to live with my heavenly father again. I also love that I can live with my family for not just this lifetime, but for all of eternity. I also can't wait to get sealed to a wonderful man in the temple and to have my own family for all of eternity. I know this is the only true church on this earth and I'm blessed that I'm now a member.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, going to church every sunday, and by prayer. Doing these things helps my testimony grow stronger and my faith grow stronger. Also starting this upcoming school year I am taking early morning seminary!!

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

I would honestly recommend doing what I did. Ask around and you will run into the right person to help you out .As soon as you find the right person, Take missionary lessons, go to church, read the book of mormon, and pray to heavenly father and ask him. Once you are ready and accepted the gospel, you are ready to get baptized and receive the Holy Ghost and officially become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, mormons are christians. The name "mormon" is only a nickname for the church. The actual name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the definition of someone who is a christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ. And that's what we believe in, our heavenly father,Jesus Christ, and the holy ghost. Jesus Christ is our savior and we love him. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Our bodies are temples, therefore we should treat it like one. The reason we don't use tobacco, alcohol, drugs, coffee, and tea is because these are harmful to our bodies and our minds. Also, our Heavenly Father doesn't want us to put these things in our body because they are harmful to our bodies and harmful to our minds spiritually. We are encouraged to eat healthy foods, such as fruits and vegetables. Fruits and Vegetables and other healthy foods are good for our bodies. Our heavenly father promises great blessings to us physically and spritually to those who obey the Word of Wisdom. Show more Show less
