Hi I'm Savannah

I'm just your average everyday person, nothing grand or different about me except, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a large family of nine children, which has truly shaped me into the person I am today. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my family whether that be playing outside together or just chilling inside watching movies. I'm a college student right now and I have no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life. I absolutely love sports. You can find me any day of the week watching and usually playing just about any sport. I love to read just about anything from Harry Potter to the classics like Frankenstein and Little Woman.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I went to church with my family and never asked why, it was just something we did every Sunday. I never cared much for church because it was long and I had no friends there. It wasn't until my family moved to a new state where I had to start all over did I really gain my own testimony of the church. School became more difficult and I felt more alone then ever. I wanted to just give up. Instead of quitting though, I tried to think of everything that could help my situation, and the answer that came to me was get more involved in church. I started reading the scriptures on my own, praying every day, and going to all my church activities. I never felt more accepted and loved anywhere else. From then on, I continued to do the things that I am supposed to do and have not ever regretted it. I know that this church is true. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is mindful of all of us. He knows how to help us and He will if we will just ask Him through prayer. He wants us to return to Him someday, and He's given us everything we need to return. If we will just do our part, we can be blessed. I am so grateful for the Atonement and all that it allows me to do, and the peace I feel when I use it. I love this church and all it has done for me in my life thus far. I know that anyone who may be going through a hard time right now, this is the church for you!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many different ways. Always being a good example is something that I have been taught since I was little and something that helps me live my faith. I follow the standards I have been given and have set for myself like avoiding drugs and using inappropriate language. I try to be the best person that I can be and try and help others along the way as well.
