Hi I'm Greg

I am from Basalt, Idaho and I am currently serving a mission in Nauvoo. I drive the big draft horses and oxen.

About Me

I love the outdoors and love to hunt and fish. My family is my most important interest. Terry, my wife, and I have 5 children and 13 grandchildren. We love being involved with their lives. We are currently serving our third mission in Nauvoo. We serve in the historical sites, I drive the horses and the oxen and we participate in the shows that are are performed in Nauvoo.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were members of the church, but I still had to find out for myself that it was true. I have read the Book of Mormon numerous times and I know the promise contained within that book is valid. The promise invites you to ask God, having Faith in Jesus Christ,if it is true. If you ask with real intent, you will know it is true because the Holy Ghost will manifest it to you. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and therefore know that Joseph Smith was the prophet and seer who translated that book. Because of Joseph Smith, the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ was established with priesthood keys and authority that enable me to receive ordinances necessary to seal my family together for eternity and return (if I am faithful), to live with my Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because it brings great joy to my life.

How I live my faith

We serve missions because we enjoy meeting people and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. When you are serving others, you never think about your own problems. Service is very rewarding, if you can help someone to gain happiness, you likewise receive that happiness in return.
