Hi I'm Brandon

I'm an American. I'm an Athlete. I'm a Husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After my mission I attended Southern Virginia University where I played baseball for 2 years. I met my wife there who was playing soccer at the same time. We love to be active! After school and work moved us to California, we picked up lots of fun hobbies. We go rock climbing, play golf and tennis and soccer, support the Oakland A's and Golden State Warriors and LOVE cooking and eating out! Overall, we love enjoying life as a new young couple.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know I'm supposed to be. I have spent countless hours seeking and learning about gods plan for me and have found a peace in the doctrines of the Restored Gospel that hasn't been matched anywhere else. I know where I came from and how God created and raised my spirit. I know why I'm here and am grateful for my body. I know where I'm going after this life and how my family can be together forever as a unit. I know that God continues to speak to prophets and I thank him for that light and guidance. This gospel provided me with all if that knowledge and taught me what it means to come unto Christ. That is why I am a Mormon,

How I live my faith

In our previous wards, I and my wife have been ward missionaries. We had so many great experiences working and teaching with the missionaries and were blessed to be a part of the conversions of some amazing people. We cherish the spirit the accompanies the lords work and are always looking for new ways to share what we believe.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

We as Mormons frequently encourage people to pray for guidance and answers to their questions. The people we read about in the scriptures were encouraged to do the same thing! As we read about the questions they had and the answers God game them, often times we can find that those answers work for us as well. The scriptures can speak to us both in the words that we read and through the spirit that they invite. Scripture study is an import and part of receiving revelation. Show more Show less
