Hi I'm Kylea

I was born and raised in Las Vegas. I am an athlete. I am serving the Lord in the Texas Lubbock Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very outgoing person who loves life! In high school I was in Yearbook, student council, national honor society, and I played on both the softball and tennis teams. I also took a few advanced placement classes. I graduated in 2013 and I am now a student at an accredited university. I work for the school newspaper as a photojournalist. My major is in communications and I am either going into photojournalism or into the digital film industry. I LOVE to play sports! My favorites are softball and tennis but I enjoy all the other sports as well. In my spare time I really enjoy taking pictures, I am a photographer and I have been since I was little. I also love to camp, ride four wheelers, go hiking, boating, you could say I love the outdoors. I am a big baseball fan and my favorite team is the Cincinnati Reds. I don't watch too much football but I am a devoted fan of Peyton Manning and so I am a current Broncos fan.

Why I am a Mormon

Heavenly Father's gospel brings light into my life! It brings me happiness and it keeps me at peace. It has brought many blessings into my life. I know that when I am need all I have to do is pray to our Father in Heaven and he will answer my prayer. I am his daughter, we are all his children and he loves each and every one of us. I know that Heavenly Father sent his son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins so that we would be able to repent of the sins we have done. I know that Jesus had the strength to atone for each of us because in each of us there is something worth dying for. I know that Joseph Smith restored the true church here on this earth in these latter-days. I know that if we live our life righteously we may return to our Father in Heaven one day and with sacred temple ordinances we will be able to be with our family for all eternity, meaning that we will see those who have left this earth once again. I cannot wait to see my grandfather again and I am grateful for the plan that will allow me to do so. Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and he wants us to return to him again. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I keep moving forward and continue to abide by the promises I have made to God no matter how tough things get or how good things are. I pray at every opportunity I get and I try to be the best example that I can be. I strive on a daily basis to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ as I serve my fellow beings and serve my Father in Heaven.
