Hi I'm Tessa

I'm from a small town in Minnesota. I love the arts, like singing and acting. I play rugby. I'm really creative. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a highly creative right-brained idealist. I love writing, reading, singing, acting, and creating things. I played rugby and did theater all through high school. I'm currently a college student, soon to leave on a mission for 18 months for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will be serving in the Italy, Milan mission. I have too many things I want to be when I grow up, so I spend a lot of time pondering and analyzing who I am and who others are to get an idea of where my true passion lies. I am so excited to go on a mission and add it to my life experiences!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I have a highly inquisitive mind, however and have enjoyed being able to go to church young so I have had time to become very familiar with the scriptures and corresponding doctrine. I cannot deny that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I have spent countless hours learning about it and pondering it. But nothing can substitute the tremendous love I feel from my Heavenly Father every day. The blessings I have been given; from my wonderful family and supportive friends to the talents I have and can share; are all too many to count. I know that the influence of the Gospel is such that it can take us through any trial, loneliness, sickness, or broken heart. I have felt the unity of my family strengthen as we work in tandem to each become like Christ. I am so glad I get to spend my life learning from His words, feeling His love, and telling everyone about the eternal hope that is in me.

How I live my faith

As a young adult, I am able to help out pretty much anywhere in the ward. I sometimes teach lessons to the youth, but I also participate with the women's organization. I mostly help the missionaries that are stationed in our ward when they need extra people to accompany them to the lessons they're teaching. I try to help as many people as possible!
