Hi I'm Bree Sanders

I'm a math teacher and musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live on a small farm in Utah with pigs, chickens, cows, and too many raspberries to pick! My family means everything to me and my favorite thing to do is go camping with them. I play the piano and the clarinet and love the peace and happiness that music can bring into my life. I work for Cafe Rio installing interior decor and am grateful for the experiences I've had and people I've met because of my job. Being a teacher had always been my dream and I taught junior high math before I decided to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it makes me a better person. Being a member isn't always easy but that's why I like it. The commandments and teaching make me strive to be a better person today than I was yesterday and because of the atonement, I can repent and try again when I make mistakes. I know this church is the true church because I have studied, prayed, and pondered the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and have gained a testimony of its teachings.

How I live my faith

I have always been a member of the church and have served my church by being a girl's camp director, pianist, and visiting teacher among other callings. Being a Mormon isn't just a religion that's lived on Sundays but a way of life. It's how you treat others. It's the example you are to those who surround you. I know that being a teacher, means you are constantly observed and I love that I can be a positive role model for kids. I believe the best way to live my faith is to serve others in ways big or small. I serve others by donating time in my community to help others in need, donating money and materials to humanitarian efforts, and by simply being kind to those whose paths I cross.
