Hi I'm Jordan Johnson

I grew up in Southern Utah. I love my family, learning, and nature. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Southern Utah, learning how to work, love, serve, and live. Being the oldest of six children, I have had many opportunities to help others and lead by example. My family owns a small hotel and convenience store, where I have worked most of my teenage life. This has taught me the value hard work and the rewards it brings. I love playing the piano, enjoying the outdoors, science, rain, chocolate covered peanuts in bunny tracks ice cream, and having fun. I have recently finished my first year of college, where I studied science and health, and have moved home to prepare to serve a mission for my church to share what the gospel of Christ that brings me so much happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the spirit and teachings found in my church bring me more happiness and satisfaction than I have found anywhere else. I know who I am, where I came from, where I am going, and why I am here. I know there is more to life than just living and dying. This gives me motivation and reason for living, serving, and seeking growth and learning. This knowledge helps me to find happiness in little things and to be grateful for all that I have, all that the Lord has blessed me with. I am a Mormon because it is something that I feel in my heart is right, and the truthfulness of this church has been made witness to me by the Holy Ghost. I am a Mormon because I can learn of the true nature of Christ and His grace. I have come to know, over time and experience by experience, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is where truth can be found, and happiness and love can be felt, whether in good times or in times of trial.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively attending my church meetings and completing any assignments I have been given. I have taught and spoken in children's classes, women's meetings, and congregational meetings when assigned. I also strive to live my faith by example in being a good friend to the youth, reading my scriptures, and being kind and happy. I am soon leaving for an 18 month church mission in Texas to share the gospel and the happiness it can bring.
