Hi I'm Bill

I grew up in Colorado. I'm a college student. And I'm going spend the next 2 years of my life as a missionary!

About Me

I love to be outdoors and my hobbies include hiking, rock climbing, and skiing in the winter. I am the third child in a family of five kids and I spent my childhood constantly trying to keep up with my two older brothers. I just finished my first year at college where had a ton of fun, and also tried to figure out what I want to do in the future. I'm good at math and have always enjoyed building things, so I have tentatively decided to study engineering. However, I am quite scared, as I'm sure most prospective engineers are, when I look at all the high level courses I will need to take before graduation. I will not be returning to school in the fall, as I have decided to serve a two year mission in Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because I know that when I am living the commandments and teachings of our church, I am a more humble, kind, and generous person. I know that there is a purpose in life for each and everyone of us and that our Heavenly Father loves us all and wants us to be able to return to him. While life can be difficult, we are not alone; we can always find help and guidance from our loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to follow Christ's example in how I interact with others and my self. Obviously I'm not perfect and I don't always succeed in loving my neighbor everyday (especially if that neighbor happens to be one of my siblings). But, I know that as I am trying to emulate Christ, I am progressing and becoming a better person. I hope that as a missionary I will be able to share the spirit of Christ with those that I meet in Chile.
