Hi I'm Sam

I grew up in Mud Lake, Idaho. I love parkour, music, skateboarding, foreign languages, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I enjoy playing the drums, mandolin, guitar, ukulele, and piano. I also enjoy skateboarding, biking, or doing anything physical with wheels actually. Parkour has been a guiding force in the way I see everyday challenges in my life. I love going out on dates or to parties. I love having fun! I am planning on going to college to become an electrical engineer after my mission in Hungary.

Why I am a Mormon

In my life I've had trials. In no way is my life terrible or bad by any means, but there are always some unpleasant events that can make an individual question their purpose in this life. With the gospel of the Jesus Christ I always know what I should do. I know why I am here and I know I can help others understand why they are here. Understanding this life and the life to come after death has brought so much joy to my life. I know that without faith in my religion I would be lost. This gospel has brought me so much peace knowing that I can make it back to live with my Father in Heaven and that I can live for eternity with my family. I wouldn't have it any other way.

How I live my faith

Everyday I pray. I feel communication with my Father in Heaven is essential in living a meaningful life. I also read the scriptures and apply what I learn from them into my daily life. I love my family and my friends and try to serve them in any way I can. In a couple months I will leave my hometown for two years to go out and preach the gospel to the people of Hungary. I know leaving all I know for two years will be a challenge but I want these people to have the happiness that this gospel has brought to me.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Sam
Members of the Church are typically, unusually happy. People not of our faith see this happiness and wonder from where it comes. This leads to a desire to find and thanks to full-time missionaries around the world and mormon.org it has never been easier to find the truth. That knowledge we as members of the Church have of the truth is what makes us happy. Show more Show less
