Hi I'm Kerry

I am a mom of 5, grandmother of 8. Married to the greatest guy for 42 years. I am an independent insurance agent. I am so happy.

About Me

I love to spend time with my family. We love to go to our family cabin at Bear Lake Utah and go boating, four wheeling, play games and of course eat. We love Sunday dinners, campfire cookouts, movies and popcorn, and just being together. My husband and I love to travel together, even road trips are fun. I love the ocean and the beach. I learned to SCUBA 3 years ago and absolutely love it. The warm, clear blue Carribean waters are my favorite. I live near the Rocky mountains in the Salt Lake Valley and have also loved skiing and just enjoying the beauty of the mountains surrounding us here. I am an insurance agent and have enjoyed do this as well. I have met many wonderful people through the years helping them with their needs. My life has been enriched by the wonderful people with which I have crossed paths over the years: many lifelong friends, my extended family and business acquaintances. I am happy. I choose to be happy. I am grateful and recognize that my Father in Heaven has poured down blessings upon me all my life. I know He loves me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the by the principles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, makes me truly happy. It gives my life meaning, direction, a purpose, and hope. The gospel is based on the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who I love and for whom I am so grateful. I know He lives and stands at the head of this church, continually directing this church through His chosen servants, living prophets. I know that Thomas S. Monson is His chosen prophet today. God continues to reveal His word and teachings to us through his chosen prohets. What a blessing this is to us. I have felt the power of God's priesthood as ordained, worthy priesthood holders, especially my own husband, have blessed me or my children. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to translate the Book of Mormon and restore Christ's church upon the earth in this last dispensation. I know that I have the potential to live with my family for all eternity and return to the presence of my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful that I know this. I love the gospel and the organization of the church. I cannot imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a Mormon. I have been blessed to serve in many callings over the last 42 years, most of which have been with the youth of the church, specifically the Young Women. This has truly blessed my life. I have spent many hours preparing and teaching lessons, panning and going to Young Women activities, girls camps, youth conferences and just visiting with and spending time with these amazing young women. I have learned so much from them and from the opportunities to serve. I love that our church gives each of us the chance to serve in various callings where we grow, learn and progress. I also am a visiting teacher which gives me an opportunity to visit, help and serve other women in our ward family. What a great way to truly come to know and love these wonderful women. I have also been served and cared for by my visiting teachers over the years, which has been a great blessing to me. I look forward to Sundays when I can go to church and be surrounded by the wonderful people in our ward family, to be taught, and uplifted, and reminded of the things I need to do to love and serve others every day of the week. Every day I read from the Book of Mormon, which is a second witness of Jesus Christ. I feel the power and spirit of these scriptures and their positive influence in my life. I know this book to be true. I strive to live the teachings found in this great book and I know my life is better because of it.
