Hi I'm Jamison

I ski and hike, I love food and France I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 20 years old. I just returned from France serving as a volunteer for my church. I spent two years talking to people about God, and how they can get closer to him as they pray and make promises to Him. I ski and hike for fun. Why? Because I love the mountains! I love the feeling of satisfaction that comes when I reach the top of a mountain. I enjoy nature so skiing and hiking really help me feel relaxed. I love hanging out with my family. We make food together, go biking, or I watch my sister's dance performances. They're really good at dance, and it makes me proud to belong to a family who works hard to reach their goals. I love my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. So many times I have a question big or small, and the answer, though not always immediate, comes to me through reading the Book of Mormon. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon and it's power to help my life and others' lives. I have a testimony of Joseph Smith, and that he restored the church. I believe that as the first modern prophet, he was given guidance from God, and our prophet today, Thomas S. Monson has that same guidance. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

The Scriptures teach: "If you believe all these things see that ye do them" -Mosiah 4:10 "Faith without works is dead" -James 2:20 So HOW do I live my faith? I act. I read and study my scriptures each day I sincerely pray to God each day I attend my weekly sabbath meetings I pay tithing I try and treat people how I would like to be treated
