Hi I'm Andrew Hahn

I come from Washington state, I attended BYU in Provo, Utah for a year. I am now serving a full-time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. When I was 16, I moved across the country to Washington, where I completed my high school education. I then attended Brigham Young University for a year before I submitted my papers to serve a mission and received my call.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in this church, so it has been a bit harder for me to gain my own testimony. I have lived off of my parents' testimony for a lot of my life, but becoming a missionary requires that I have my own testimony. I have come to realize through my personal study and prayers that this church is very true and that it is there to bless the lives of any who accept it as well as to show them the way back home to our Heavenly Father. It has all been made possible through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came to Earth and atoned for the sins of the world. Through our faith, our works, and His grace, we may be found spotless at the judgment day.

How I live my faith

I have had many leadership positions in the church as a youth. While at BYU, I taught a class in church every other week about the Old Testament. I have decided to serve a full-time mission for the next two years (July 2014-July 2016), and I have been called to serve in the Illinois Chicago West Mission. I will be teaching as many people as I can about our faith and how it brings happiness. It is a very large commitment, but I know that the Lord is on my side and will help me in my endeavors.
