Hi I'm Kaden Larson

I'm your typical teenager. Except I am preparing to serve as a missionary in the India for two years of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of twelve; seven sisters, two brothers, two parents and one me. We're all blond, except for my redhead mom. She's great. :) I just graduated from high school and I am loving every second of not being there. I just got called to serve in the India Bangalore Mission!!! It is pretty crazy and I never expected to serve in India. I work as a courtesy clerk at the local grocery store, and a car washer at a car dealership. I'm trying to earn all I can to pay for my mission. When I get back from my mission I'll probably end up going to BYU-I, going into the field of optometry(?) I really don't know what I am going to be when I grow up. I like to listen to local "indie" bands and love to sing. I think it'd be awesome if I could get a band together someday, but we'll see. I love the outdoors. Mountain biking, rock climbing, water skiing, cross country skiing, horseback riding, hiking, cliff jumping... it's great. :) And I really like avocados.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It has always been a part of my life. I'm very glad that I was born into this church, because I would be pretty lost without it. But always having it in my life has made me take it for granted, I think. My whole childhood and most of my teenager years I was simply riding on the coat tails of my parents and didn't have a true testimony about the gospel. When I started living a life that wasn't in line with the Church, I knew that it was not what I wanted. I didn't want to feel guilt all the time. I knew this was a problem that needed to be fixed and that was when my testimony began to grew. I started doing things that would bring me closer to God, such as: repenting, reading scriptures, praying both night and day, paying attention during church and Seminary, studying, etc. Just doing the things that I've always been taught to do. Obedience is the key. I know that I am on this Earth to accomplish great things; but I cannot do this without the Lord's help. That is why I am a Mormon. This is the only true church and it is the Lord'd church.

How I live my faith

I'm preparing for a mission, and that is how I live my faith! I have also served in two presidencies during my teenager years. I bear my testimony to others of the Gospel and the Lord when I fell moved upon by the Holy Spirit to do so. I know that when I do that, my testimony is strengthened as well as the peoples' who hear it. I have had many opportunities to show others what I have learned from this Gospel and how it has made me a better person.
