Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in Utah, and just graduated from high school. Im a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Hiking, hunting, riding dirt bikes and 4-wheeling, fishing, camping its all for me. I also enjoy spending time with my friends. I like to chill by playing my guitar, watching movies, listening to music and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church and I have currently received my mission call to serve in Africa. Growing up I have always known that this is the truth. From getting blessings from my father or grandpas, I have become better from sickness and I know that they hold the priesthood given to us from our Heavenly Father, and it is the same exact power that He possesses. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins making it possible for all of us to return back to our loving Father in Heaven. He wants us to return back to live with him because he loves us so much and I know he loves us with everything He has, because He has given us everything. His Son. I also know that Joseph Smith translated the Golden Plates into the Book of Mormon, which is a very true book. When I read this book I have such better days and everything throughout my day seems to run more smoothly, compared to the days I skip reading and I just don't feel the same. I know that our current Prophet, Thomas S. Monson is a true leader and a tool that God uses to communicate with us today. I love my family and friends, and I want to be with the forever and by following the commandments and keeping true to the church I know that I will be able to when I pass on.

How I live my faith

I just got released from being the bishop's 1st assistant. This position is over the 16-18 year old guys in the ward. I turned 18 and received the Melchizedek priesthood so I was released from that calling. I am currently a home teacher and my dad is my companion. We have 2 families that we visit. We talk with them and share a short message that we have prepared and then ask them if we can help them with anything that they may need help with, such as physical labor or just a blessing.
