Hi I'm Seth Oliver Niblett

I was born and raised in Meridian, Idaho. I compete at the state level on my saxophone. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Aside from being a Mormon, I'm a musician. Primarily I play Tenor Saxophone and I like to compete in solo competitions. Whether it be marching band, jazz band, symphonic band, choir, or just playing piano at home. I love music. Music can help me feel the Holy Ghost and bring me closer to Christ in lots of ways. I plan on studying music and the medical sciences in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's restored church. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true work of God and that through it we can become closer to God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today. I'm a Mormon because I know it's right because the Holy Ghost has born witness to me that what this church teaches is true. I know that through this church I can return to live again with my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I will be traveling to and living in Managua, Nicaragua for two years. While there I will be able to teach people about our church and work to bring them closer to Christ. I will also be able to work in various service projects around the country and possibly will teach English classes to the people living there. I do not get paid to go and serve, but happily do so because I know that not only is it what my Heavenly Father wants from me, but I want to share the message of Christ's gospel! Two years of my life will be a small price to pay for the blessings I know I will receive.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Seth Oliver Niblett
Mormon missionaries proselyte because Christ has asked that we teach what we know. (see Matthew 28:19) As a missionary myself I want to be able to share with people the knowledge I have of the gospel so that they can experience the same light and joy that comes from living a Christ centered life. I know that through Him I can change lives and help bring people back to Christ. Show more Show less
