Hi I'm Noah

I have lived in New York and Utah. I will be serving as an LDS missionary in the Texas McAllen mission.

About Me

I am a missionary for the church, but in two years will be attending BYU on a creative writing scholarship. I love my family beyond belief. I love listening to and playing music. I play both the 6 string and bass guitars and have been immersed in choir programs for many years. I want to receive a PhD in English and hope to become a professor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into and raised in the church, but that doesn't mean I wasn't converted. I had to receive for myself, as all faithful members of the church must do, an answer regarding the truth of this church. My path to conversion was and continues to be a simple one in idea: having faith in the Atonement of Jesus Christ and repenting of my sins and transgressions, which means apologizing for and sacrificing the things in my life that prevent me from being like our Savior. This process isn't always easy, in fact, when it is most important, it rarely is. I know, however, that "[Jesus Christ] is mighty to save," and that those who are willing to follow his commandments and change their lives can be saved through Him and be happy.

How I live my faith

For two years I will be devoting all of my time to Heavenly Father and His son and our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Before I came on a mission, I served for four years as a youth group secretary and for almost two years as a youth group president.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Noah
The Church understands that it is much easier to administer to spiritual needs when the physical ones have already been addressed. If the Church can increase the general satisfaction of physical needs, it then follows that more people will develop spiritually and draw closer to Christ. Show more Show less
