Hi I'm Mele Teuila Halasima

I am Mele Teuila Halasima. I grew up in Vava'u and I'm still a missionary at the Philippine Manila Mission.

About Me

As a little child I did grew up in a little town in Vava'u. I then move to Tongatapu to further my education. I did attend primary school and then go on to high school. I did gratuated from there then I continue on filling up my form. As a little child I did always set my goal to become a missionary after finishing my school. Before going on my mission I did went around with missionaries and help them bring soul unto Christ. I did set a great examples to others by helping them with their chores and also share the gospel and my testimonies to non-members.I am now currently serving as a full time missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

When growing up I was a mormon. I am being grateful that I became a mormon because being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is a blessing for my life and also my families. I know that through God's love for us as his children he restored the truthfulness of the gospel through his loving prophet Joseph Smith. I know that through his love I am able to be a member of the church and as a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints its my duty to help others to come unto Christ. I did continue to follow his gospel because this gopel blesses my life today. I know that through the love of God and His gospel I am able to become a full time missionary now. I know that if we treasure his gospel in our lives then we will be able to resist temptation and live a happy lives.Through the gopel of Jesus Christ it prepare us to go back and live with our Heavenly Father one day

How I live my faith

To live my faith I did live my entire lives in committing myself to be worthy at all times so I can be able to go and serve God and do his works. I did help the widow in my wards and also teach little children in primary school. As a young single adult I did become a secretary for the Young Women and also for Primary. I did all my best to fulfill my calling in church and be able to show good examples to others. I did fulfill all my calling with all my hearts, might, mind and strength and be able to become a good person and good examples to others.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon or in other words member of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a blessing for my lives. Now I'm a full time missionary and still serving in the Manila Philippines Mission. It is my duty to proclaim the everlasting gospel to all people in order for them to come unto Christ and partake of the blessing that I have receive as a member. I can be able to help them to know how the gospel blesses their lives and show them that families can be together for time and for eternity because this is the center of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am very grateful for a wonderful parents that raise me in the church so that I can be able to have the chance to share the gospel to those who haven't heard of it. I testify that this is the true church of God being restored through Joseph Smith. We have a living prophet who lead us through this last days which is Prophet Thomas S. Monson. I'm so proud to become a member of the church. Show more Show less

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith was a great prophet of God. He was the first prophet of this dispensation and through him the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was being establish again in this last dispensations. He also receive power from God to translate the Book of Mormon and also build his kingdom here on earth. Show more Show less
