Hi I'm Carson

I am from Cleveland, Ohio. I will be spending the next two-years in the Alaska Anchorage Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent graduate of High School. The subjects that I enjoyed the most are math and science. I played (at one point or another in school): football, basketball and tennis. I love playing sports and also watching others play them. I watch a lot of movies, and often rewatch them. I will be attending college after my mission. I was born into the Church and was baptized when I was 8. Every day since then I have strived to live my life in a way that would be pleasing unto the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the power that Jesus Christ has given to his chosen people upon this Earth. I know that the Church has a leader on this Earth who in the mouthpiece of the Lord. I have prayed upon the teachings and the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon and have found great joy through being obedient unto them. I have faith which has lead me to act and be an example unto others. I know that this Gospel is true, and through the restored ordinances I can return to my Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith conversed with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that through him the Church was restored. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the same church that Jesus Christ established during his ministry upon the Earth. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a called leader, and is on this Earth to lead and teach everyone. I know that families can be together forever, and I am blessed with great parents who taught me these things and allowed me to choose a path for myself.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my fellow men. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is something that enables everyone to be better and receive relief from mistakes that we have made. I decided, with the assistance of prayer, to serve a 24-month, full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that this decision will bless the lives of many who I will come into contact with, and I owe this to my Father in Heaven for allowing me to be raised within the Church. I was called to the Alaska Anchorage Mission to invite others to come unto Christ. I cannot extend that invitation to others if I myself do not live a Christ-like life.
