Hi I'm Jeff

I am a convert of 2 years. I live in the Pacific Northwest. I am a huge baseball fan! I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am the youngest of 3 children. I grew up in Western Oregon and spent most of my youth playing organized sports such as baseball, and football. We lived near a river where my friends and I would fish from daylight until dark most everyday of our summers. I went to college at the University of Oregon and earned my Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. In my spare time I love to cook for large crowds of people. I love to travel all over the United States and learn how different people live.

Why I am a Mormon

Nothing brings greater happiness to my life than my membership in the church. The teachings of the church have increased my faith in Jesus Christ, provided knowledge of God's plan for me personally, and simply makes me a much better person than I would be otherwise. Keeping God's commandments keep me safe, and bring great blessings in mine and my families lives. This is the only true church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of his teachings and his authority on the Earth. I have learned for myself through thoughts and feelings as I have seriously studied the Book of Mormon and Bible, prayed, and applied the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life. I have a great calling in my church teaching Gospel Principles to new converts- those who have recently joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (such as myself) and investigators (those seeking to find out what our church is about). It brings to light how much this church means to me. Seeing a person come to the realization that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He lives is an awesome feeling. No greater love could I have than the love I have for Jesus Christ. It is my testimony, that I know Jesus Christ died so that we may live. Through his atonement we are able to live again with our Heavenly Father. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is organized by Jesus Christ Himself. I testify that keeping the commandments we will be clean in the eyes of our Father in Heaven. I am thankful for the knowledge gained through studying and prayerfully seeking the truth through the Bible and The Book of Mormon. Through prayer we can receive answers to questions we have. "Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you" Matthew 7:7

How I live my faith

Living faithfully through the teachings of Jesus Christ help me to become more like Him everyday. Charity and love being the paramount of all human interaction, it is essential to our daily lives to give of ourselves.
