Hi I'm Wes

I'm a Mormon and was born and raised in Victorville

About Me

I was lucky to marry a Mormon and we have raised 10 children together. I'm a retired Letter Carrier and spent 44 years at the Victorville Post Office. I love to read and do family history work. I have to start my day out with two crossword puzzles to get the brain working.

Why I am a Mormon

I love to read the Book of Mormon and realize it's another testament of Jesus Christ. We believe that families can be forever and that we are here for a specific purpose. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and he saw Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ in the Spring of 1820. I have found these things to be true by the power of the Holy Ghost and testify that anyone else can do the same. The gospel brings joy and peace into one's life right now. Jesus Christ died for us, so we can be redeemed from this fallen world and be spiritually reborn and change our former habits and replace them with good constructive ones instead. The gospel is for all people and the work we do in the temple will effect those that have gone on before us. Our Heavenly Father wants to bless us with all of the blessings necessary to qualify us to live with Him once again. and they can only be found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am a home teacher and have been in our Bishopric and other leadership positions in our ward. I go out with the missionaries and help them with whatever they need. I love to go to church and talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
