Hi I'm Noah

I grew up in Georgia, love America, the outdoors, and my family. I believe you can do anything if you set your mind to it!

About Me

I was born in Florida, but shortly thereafter, moved to Georgia. My brother and I started a lawn care business when I was ten and continued it throughout middle and highschool. When my brother left for his mission, we cut the business in half to where I could manage it myself, and since I got my mission call I have given the rest of the accounts to friends and church members. I wrestled in high school up until my junior year before state qualifiers when I fractured both transverse processors on my L1 vertebrate. That injury put me out of the wrestling scene, but I began to workout a lot during my senior year and I have grown to love it. I enjoy hunting but love to fish both on and off shore. Family is very important to me and I'm very thankful for the great friends I have. I'm preparing to serve a mission in the Florida Orlando Mission from August 2014 - August 2016. After I return from my mission I plan to attend BYU Provo and look forward to making new friends there. I'm very patriotic and love anything that's red, white, and blue. I'm grateful for the opportunities I have here in America and never forget that my freedom has come with a cost. I have the utmost respect for the soldiers that serve to protect this great country and also the veterans who have done their duty.

Why I am a Mormon

Apart from being raised in church, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed with a sincere heart to know if it was true. I received my answer by the Holy Ghost and it has changed my life. When I read my scriptures I am at such peace with everything around me. I feel comforted when I'm sad and joyful the rest of the time. I know that Joseph Smith was the first prophet in these latter-days and that he restored the gospel to it's fullness. I'm thankful for the love that Heavenly Father has for all His children here on earth and the Plan that He has laid out for us to return to live with Him. I want to please Heavenly Father in the things that I do to show my love for Him and I know that I can do this most especially when I live my faith as a Mormon. I know that I am blessed when I do this and am again grateful for the love that He has for me as well as everyone else.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly and strive to go to the activities held for the youth my age. I go out with the missionaries here in my area. We find people to share the gospel with and invite them unto Christ and to have faith in the Atonement, repent, be baptized, and endure to the end. I try to pray regularly and be sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit so that it may guide me in the things that I do and say and also use me as a tool to teach others. In school I always tried to set an example for my friends and always encouraged their questions they had about my faith. I study my scriptures and try to grow closer to Heavenly Father every day. I know that if I obey the commandments and strive to live like Christ He will pour out His blessings He's so ready to give me. Since I've been out on my mission I have learned so much about living my faith. Everyone has their unique ways that they live their faith, but no matter how you live your faith, it shows that you love Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. One of the easiest way we can live our faith is by obeying the commandments that we have been given. When we obey Gods commandments we show our love for Him and He shows His love for us by pouring out blessings upon us. If you think about it, obedience is all that is asked of us. We're asked to love God and His children and if we obey these two commandments we obey all other commandments that are given. This brings me to another way we can live our faith; love everyone! No matter who it is or what they've done, love them. By showing our love for those around us we are representing Christ and the things He taught and spreading love and happiness all at the same time! I know that when we live our faith -no matter how we live it- it pleases our Heavenly and we will be happier people when we do so. I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to live my faith and take upon myself them me of Jesus Christ and be an example to those around me.
