Hi I'm Eliza

I am a teenage Kentuckian, a passionate vegan, an enthusiastic cello player, a certified goofball, and a proud Mormon.

About Me

Hello! Call me Sie. I am 17 years old. I am a booklion🦁 I’m a lover of all things having to do with cats. I am an avid listener of music. I play cello, ukulele and piano. I was recently blessed to have played Handel's Messiah with other amazing musicians. I love doing after school activites like my orchestra quartet, acapella group, and occasionally I'll get to do a Play or Musical. I LOVE Musicals, and if you couldn’t tell by my name, Eliza from Hamilton is my favorite human. One of my favorite rolls to play was Scuttle, the zany bird from The Little Mermaid. Scuttle is funny, silly, and crazy; characteristics I relate to. I am also a passionate vegan, which just shows you how diverse mormons are! I am a huge foodie and cook. I am a certified goofball and an eager participant in any event involving the consumption of food. JESUS IS MY ROCK AND THAT'S HOW I ROLL!!! "Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come." -D&C 68:5-6

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I want to be. I am a mormon because I believe my church is true. No one told me it was true and I just got my testimony from them. The amazing thing about the church is that it gives you this glad message, and when you pray about it and read the scriptures, you can decide for YOURSELF whether it's true. I bear my testimony that if you have a sincere heart and a desire to know the truth, that God will make it manifest unto you. I am a Mormon because I LOVE it!

How I live my faith

I live my Faith the best I possibly can. I love reaching out to my fellow humans and helping them in any way possible. I try to be a missionary, and am so grateful for my opportunities to share this wonderful gospel with others. I try to treat my body like a temple, because I know how precious this life is. Most of all, I try to make other people smile. Jesus Christ has brought happiness into my life, so I try to do my best to share that happiness with other by doing a little something that will make their day just a little bit better. As you can see, I “try” a lot, that is because I am not perfect. That is where Jesus Christ comes into my life. I know that if I try my best by repenting and changing, Christ’s atonement will make up for my shortcomings. I am so grateful for this gospel, and I know that I can live a happy fulfilling life with it in my life.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Taking care of our bodies is such an important duty. Our body is the temple for our spirit. By taking care of it, we are not only helping ourselves, but we are showing appreciation for this amazing gift. We can take care of our bodies by nourishing it with wholesome foods, and not filling it with substances which are outlined in the Word of Wisdom. Show more Show less
