Hi I'm Rachel

I love the performing arts, I capture moments through a camera lens, I love to laugh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I loved to perform when I was little and started ballet dancing when I was three years old. I've been performing ever since. In high school I was part of a show choir that danced and sang at the same time. The best part of that was doing a workshop every year with children from 1st to 8th Grade. I couldn't help but always feel good after seeing the light they had in their faces learning and being on stage. Ahhh! They are always just awesome! Photography is something I've also loved to do since I was young, and I think it is something I want to do in college. The other things I love is music, art, dance, acting, singing, laughing, creating moments, outdoors, star gazing, food, friends, love, service, happiness, my testimony, and most of all family!

Why I am a Mormon

I personally was born into the church and wasn't fully converted until I got older. I've decided I would serve a full time mission and have gained more of a witness that this church is SO true when I got my call to serve for eighteen months. I receive revelation everyday that going on a mission is right for me. I also have noticed how being part of this wonderful gospel is what makes us stand out as a church. We all have gained an eternal happiness. There is something hard to express about why this church is so special. But I can tell you, my life wouldn't be as blessed if I didn't have this gospel in my life. It teaches me to love others like the Savior does. It teaches me that I am a daughter of God and that we all have divine worth. The gospel teaches me to be kind to those who aren't and how to be truly happy. Jesus Christ lives. He is there for us always. The church is true. I learn that more every single day of my life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in Jesus Christ by being an example to all those around me and by standing for what I believe in, no matter where I go or what I do. I've decided to live my faith also by serving a mission for the people of the Adriatic South Mission (Countries: Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia). Reading about the people in that area excites me to go and share the eternal happiness we receive from our Father in Heaven! I know everyday I serve others, I am shining God's light and love down on them. It is the best feeling in the world to know that I will be doing that for a solid eighteen months while I speak the Albanian language!
