Hi I'm Tate

I grew up in Orem Utah, I play baseball, golf, am an eagle scout, and I'm a mormon

About Me

Growing up I always loved playing sports, especially baseball. My mother would always have a hard time keeping track of me because I was constantly running around the neighborhood looking for any sort of game I could play. I found a love for baseball, golf, and basketball and as I grew up played competitively. My family taught me how to play fair and consider the feelings of others, they supported me in all I did, and I know that they love me and I can always count on them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know Joseph Smith truly restored the gospel to this dispensation for the second coming of Christ and the progression of the one and only true church. I know the Savior suffered for our sins, iniquities, and transgressions, and if I repent of my wrong doings and properly have faith, and follow Jesus Christ will someday live again with him and our Father in Heaven for eternity.

How I live my faith

As a young boy I held callings in the deacons quorum, and teachers quorum. I felt the responsibility the be a leader to the other young men in my band of brothers, and served to help us all strive to be the best individuals we could. I found the lessons I learned with these young men will forever be a part of me as we shared experiences hiking, camping, serving, teaching, learning and having fun together. I found the opportunity to share the things I had learned throughout my life to others at school, in seminary, or any social gathering. The church has brought me closer to those around me, and taught me many life lessons.
