Hi I'm Brayden Wakley

I'm serving a mission in Mendoza Argentina right now. I'm a Mormon, and I love it!

About Me

I am an avid long distance runner, and I enjoyed being on the varsity cross country and track team at my high school, from which I have recently graduated. I love physics and math, and I hope to major in those areas in college and eventually get a job in that field. I am serving a mission for the LDS church in Argentina from July 2014 to July 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be the best I can be, knowing that Christ can make me who I need to become. I am a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's church, once again restored to the earth. I know this because I have searched for answers from my Father in Heaven, and I have received a confirmation from the Holy Ghost that it is true. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and I testify that if one reads this book with an open heart and prays to know if it is true, they will receive a confirmation of its truthfulness. I am a Mormon because it brings joy to my life! Nothing could make me more happy or fill me with more joy than to know God's Plan for us as his children. God's Plan is the great Plan of Happiness! I love Christ and what He has done for me, making it possible for me to be forgiven of my sins and enjoy the happiness that comes with following our Savior. There is no greater joy!

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith in every aspect of my life. I attend church every Sunday in my ward and officiate in sacred ordinances there, helping bless and pass the Sacrament. I have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Argentina Mendoza Mission. I am excited for the opportunity to bless other's lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
