Hi I'm Sarah

I am a small town girl. I am a bookworm. I love to laugh. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University. I am not quite sure what I am studying though; it has changed many times. Learning new things is one of my hobbies. I am most happy when I am with my family. My little sister is my best friend. In the summer, you can find me at the lake. I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love the Gospel more than anything in my life. It is my source of happiness and makes me who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is my happiness. Before I became a member of the Church, I was lost concerning what my purpose in life was and what life was even about. Now that I have discovered the Gospel, I know that I have a purpose in this life, and I know that I have a Heavenly Father who is always watching over me and loving me continually and without measure. I have come to realize the light and truth of this Gospel, and it has changed myself and my life in incredible ways. We are all so blessed to be given this life here on earth and to have the true Gospel in our midst. The Gospel of Jesus Christ ceases to amaze me. I know that the true Church has been restored to the earth once again and that we have a Father in Heaven who cares for us and has created a marvelous plan for His children. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and because of Him we can return to live with God in glory.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I am the chorister. I get to lead the hymns when we sing. This skill was completely foreign to me when I was first asked to lead the music. I had never done anything like it before; but thanks to the loving people in my ward, I am able to now lead the singing with ease. In return, I have been able to get to know many new people . Visiting teaching is also a fun and important activity that I am involved in. I love getting to know the women in my ward better by doing my visiting teaching. It surely helps me greatly as I try to help them each month. Serving in these ways in my ward is always a wonderful experience, and it strengthens my faith in Heavenly Father's love for His children as well as His Church.
