Hi I'm Kelsey

Lover of laughter and tacos. Utah State Aggie, and soon to be missionary in Indianapolis, Indiana. Im a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and am the oldest of 5 kids. I pretty much love to create things. Whether it be with food, crafts, in writing, or with music. I also love design, fashion, and cuddling with my puppy. In high school I was involved in the Special Education program, and soon fell in love with the program. I decided to study Social Work in hopes to help people who may be struggling. I am a lover of laughter. I was actually made fun of in Kindergarten because I laughed too much. But I don't think laughing too much is a real thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I never had a single moment where I knew the church was true, I guess I some how I just knew throughout certain experiences that occurred in my life. Somedays when I don't read the Book of Mormon, I don't feel right throughout the day, but when I pick up the book, and read, I feel something- something really good! I am a Mormon because thats where my happiness comes from. Knowing that there's a heavenly father out there who loves me, a savior who died specifically for me, knowing that I am never alone, knowing that death is not the end, and that I can be with my family forever. Knowing about repentance, and that guilt can be washed away, knowing that I can pray whenever and wherever I want, and that my prayer will be answered, and knowing that I have a purpose in this life is why I am a Mormon, and that is why I want to go on a mission- to teach people about Christ and his love for them. To teach them of all these wonderful blessings.

How I live my faith

Growing up in Utah County, it was never really difficult to live my faith. I have cousins that live in Georgia, and was amazed to hear that their closest church was a 30 minute drive, when my closest church is a one minute walk. I do try and live my faith by being an example to others. I have never had a problem with saying "no" when I know something isn't right. I live my faith by praying each and every night to end my day with appreciation, and by reading the Book of Mormon.
