Hi I'm Irene Louise Astilla

I'm from the Philippines. I'll be serving in San Francisco Mission. I'm member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

Well, I'm just an ordinary 2nd year student of University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, studying BSBA major in Marketing Management. I'm proud to be a part of that university, but then, I chose to serve first the Lord before finishing my college studies. Now, I already received my Mission Call and I'm really excited to serve the people in where I'll be assigned somewhere in a foreign land. I love playing with the kids and to hang out with my church friends. Watching movies and K-dramas are some of my hobbies.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I came to this Earth, my parents were already a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were converted before they were married in the Manila Philippines Temple. I grew in the Church experiencing being a part of the Primary, Young women and now, the Single Adults/ Relief Society. It's really a blessing that I've built my foundation in the church, gaining and nourishing about its truthfulness of it and also of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each of us. I know that the Book of Mormon is the another testament of Jesus Christ and that it testifies about our Savior and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

*Reading the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, everyday *Praying to our Heavenly Father through the name of Jesus Christ day and night *Attending Sacrament meeting every Sunday and renewing my covenants during the passing of bread and water *Striving to live and apply the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life
