Hi I'm Brittany

I am a redhead. I am a sister missionary. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year attending college, I have loved exploring creative options for majors. I have a deep love for studying Art History and am also considering Marketing. I have decided to put my academic studies on hold temporarily and I have chosen to serve a full-time mission. I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with all my heart and am so excited to share my testimony full time with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the church that Jesus Christ established while he lived on this earth. I know that I am a daughter of God, I have a loving Heavenly Father who sent me here to learn and grow. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me through the atonement so that I can return to live with him and my Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I know these things and I know that the way I can return back to them is through making covenants and participating in ordinances, both in and outside of the temple. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony and I know that by being a Mormon it is helping me become the person I want to be. I continue to strive each day to be better and to follow the Gospel of Christ because I love my Savior and my God and I want to make decisions that would make them proud of me. I am a Mormon because I love this Church and know it to be true.

How I live my faith

So far in my life I have held callings that involve helping women my same age, being able to reach out to them and help them with various needs both large and small. I absolutely love serving others and getting to know them better. I am definitely a people person, and that is one thing I love about being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is that it is so focused on service and being like Christ. I strive every day to live what I believe so that others may feel of the love and happiness I have in my life and hopefully want that for their life as well.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

One of the greatest gifts God has given us is our bodies. We have the Word of Wisdom to help us treat the bodies we have been given with respect, and in order to keep them as healthy as possible. I look at it as my way of showing gratitude for all God has given us, especially the miracle of have a body. Show more Show less
