Hi I'm Hunter

I recently received a mission call to Rancagua Chile, and I am so excited to serve! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love music! I taught myself to play the piano when I was about 10 years old, and I have played ever since. I really love language arts and writing-- basically anything that has to do with creating a canvas for others to use their imagination. I've grown up in Utah, but I've lived in Las Vegas, Nevada; Carson City, Nevada; Pinon Hills, California; Blue Ridge, Georgia; and Ensenada, Mexico. I love learning about new things and meeting new people. I love the outdoors! Camping and hunting with my family are some of my favorite things to do. I was named after Prophet Howard W. Hunter. I live with my mom and dad, and I have two little brothers: Chandler is 16, and Carter is 10.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the church's message is a message of hope, comfort, and peace. The church teaches that families can be together forever, and who wouldn't want that?!? It teaches that I can be forgiven for anything that I do, and I always have someone that loves me and supports me. I'm never alone, and I always have someone walking alongside me. I'm a Mormon because I know it. I live it. I LOVE IT!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making the Gospel a part of who I am. It's not just a religion, it's a lifestyle. I live my faith by keeping my standards no matter what situation I'm in. I'm living my faith by choosing to serve a mission.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No! Mormons believe in helping everyone! The Mormon Helping Hands is a great example of this. They go to places that are in need, and they help everyone whether they are Mormons or not. We believe in being like the Savior Jesus Christ, and He helped everyone--even those who persecuted him, so we believe in serving everyone just as he did. Show more Show less
