Hi I'm Aaron Yentsia Vang

I have been a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for about 8 years. I am Hmong/ American and 18 years old.

About Me

The famous Men in Black hunted down, just kidding, they sought persistently and faithfully after my family and I for 15 years. My first missionary has stayed by my side ever since I was baptized. His companion lives in Wisconsin and I believe it is fate and a blessing to be serving my mission in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I will get to spend two years with him and I am making an attempt to share the gospel with his wife. Aside from that, I play a lot of sports: football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, bowling, and baseball. I also love to dance to help express myself. I am going to be serving a two year mission before I go to college. I want to help share my culture, religion, and personality with the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I want to be received unto the lord for all time and eternity with my eternal companion, family, and friends. My parents have always raised me with high and clean moral standards and the LDS church holds many of the same values as my father on earth who I love as much as my father not of earth. The restoration of the priesthood is another key component that provides me with more faith and strength to stay worthy and prepared to serve the lord and follow in his footsteps back to the celestial kingdom. I have a firm testimony that Christ is alive and well and still conducting his work through members of the church and individuals that dedicate themselves to do good works.

How I live my faith

I pray too often in any situation: bored, happy, sad, grateful, curious, etc. I also read the book of Mormon as often as I do with the Bible. I always try to smile no matter what because it is the cure to anger or depression for me. I try to do as many hidden good deeds as possible so that I can feel happy.
