I enjoy life guarding and being a first responder, I have worked hard to keep up on my certifications. I am also a certified Pharmacy Technician, I graduated from Mountainland Applied Technology College in 2013. I finished my 1st school year at Brigham Young University also playing on the Women's Lacrosse team. Leaving to serve in the Uruguay Montevideo West Mission. I report to the Argentina Missionary Training Center on October 23rd.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe that in order to obtain eternal life I need to please my father in heaven while I am here on earth. I need to show him that I am faithful to his commandments. I want to have all the blessings god has to offer, but I know i can only obtain them when I live righteously. I believe that there is life after death. I believe that life is far superior to the life I am living now, but it comes with the price of being worthy. I want to be worthy to again one day live with heavenly father in the celestial Kingdom of Heaven. I Know that when I follow all the beliefs i have, as a mormon, I will be happier. I know as I live my religion faithfully I will be the happiest and get the most blessing from life.

How I live my faith

I have been a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for almost 19 years. I have served in my ward in many calling for the young women. The Young Women's program is a program developed to help young girls ages 12-18 spiritually, socially, emotionally, and even physically. The program has social events once a week, seasonal sports to participate in, and they meet every sunday to teach the girls about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how they should be living to fulfill the lords wants. We learn about how to become ladies with faith, divine nature, individual worth, integrity, knowledge, Good works, choice and accountability, virtue, Girls involved in the group have a safe loving place and people that care about them individually. I have enjoyed over the years planning activities and being a friend to everyone, while being spiritually uplifted by everyone.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Sierra Nicole Cooper
We, as mormons, believe that every member should be baptized because it is essential for salvation in the kingdom of God. We want everyone to be able to have eternal life and live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ once again, however some people who have passed away without that opportunity are still given the chance. We do work for the dead because they no longer have bodies to perform the work for themselves. They are then given the choice in heaven if they want to accept the baptism or reject it. I believe that most everyone in heaven will accept their baptism. I also believe that every spirit in heaven is waiting, maybe for centuries, to be baptized and I believe they are so pleased when they are able to have their work done. Show more Show less
