Hi I'm Scott Hampton

I'm a Mormon. I am a 58 year-old father of four children. My wife Pam and I have been married for 25 years.

About Me

I am a Certified Public Accountant. I graduated from the University of Utah, and am licensed as a CPA in Utah, California, and Washington. My wife Pam and I have three daughters and one son. Their names are Ashley, Tyler, Elle, and Julia. Our son is currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ if Latter-day Saints in Concepcion, Chile. He has been serving for one year. Our family enjoys snow and water skiing, cycling, motorcycling, fly fishing, and hunting pheasants in North Dakota. We have a four year-old yellow lab named Polly. I ride a Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide Ultra.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because at age twenty-five I read the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon completely changed my life for the better. The standards and values inculcated by the Book of Mormon and the LDS Church have helped me avoid many pitfalls and unpleasant consequences that I would have unavoidedly experienced had I remained on my dissolute path. I have found peace to my soul, and attained much more in life because of my faith and adherence to the high standard shared by faithful members of the Chuch.

How I live my faith

I volunteer time to my local Ward (parish) by attending church weekly and publishing weekly minutes of our adult mens' group meeting through an email distribution list. I have spent many enjoyable hours (and days) serving the youth of our church by organizing and leading camping trips and other outdoor activities.
