Hi I'm Jill Norris

I have lived in Utah, New York, Colorado, & Washington. I served a mission to Oklahoma. I have 👭👭🏃kids. My 🏃 survived ECMO.

About Me

I'm a busy stay at home mom. I keep busy throwing parties, making treats, making freezer meals, planning out menus, making paleo meals for the hubby, encouraging the hubby in Iron Tribe, posting to Instagram, serving in the church, and trying to get everything done. My goals include no regrets, enjoy every moment of every day, enjoy my 5 senses, enjoy my hubby and enjoy my kids. We love to travel and be active and we love to cruise. We love great music, great pics, great shows and having a great time. We like to work hard and play hard. I can honestly say I'm happy. I'm related to the man who invented the TV.

Why I am a Mormon

My 25 top favorite things my church taught me about my relationship with God and how to love life. 1-God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ are 2 distinct beings and we were created after his image. The Holy Ghost is a person of spirit. 2-I was given free agency 3-Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He saved me from my sins and death 4-We lived before we were born as spirits with God. 5-God has always spoken to prophets . 6-Provident living- I love the challenge of planning ahead, being prepared and being self sufficient. 7-I'm a part of the worlds largest women's organization- The Relief Society 8-The Holy Bible is the word of God. The Book of Mormon is also the word of God. 9-The church Christ organized when he was on the earth has been restored with 12 apostles. With Thomas S. Monson as the current prophet. 10-The missionary program - 18-19 year olds-1 1/2-2 years, learning languages. 11-Modest Dress 12-Code of health. No alcohol, tobacco, tea, or harmful drugs. With encouragement to eat fruits, vegetables, grains and other wholesome food. 13-Keep the sabbath day holy. I enjoy this day. 14-I love that the congregations that are run world wide are all volunteer based. No one is paid for their service. The "pastor" is not paid. Everyone in the congregation gets a calling to help ease the load. 15-I love paying tithing- it's only 10% of our income. Blessings without number! 16-Fasting and fast offering. My son Emmett was healed. 17-Christ's church was restored though the Prophet Joseph Smith in 1820. At that time the priesthood was restored. 18-Remarkable humanitarian aid world wide. 19-Temples- Families are meant to be together forever 20-Youth programs (12-18 yrs) - Seminary! 21-World wide church-offered in many languages. Family History. 22-Family Home Evening 23-General Conference 24-Baptized at 8-baptisms for the dead-opportunity for everyone to accept or reject the gospel. 25-Home & visiting teaching I know it, I love it, I live it.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving in the church. I have been given a variety of callings that I have really enjoyed. Some of my favorites include being the party planner over the Relief Society- working with the 12-14 year old young women- being a dear friend to certain ladies by checking in on them and serving them monthly. I've also had the opportunity to be a teacher to the youth, and adults ladies. Some of my best friends have been made while being a part of the Relief Society. I had the opportunity to serve a mission at 21. I loved that experienced and served on the OU campus speaking English.
