Hi I'm Celeste

I'm a college student in southern Arizona. I love reading and playing piano. And I am a Mormon!

About Me

I like playing piano, reading and baking. I'm half Mexican and I've grown up here in Southern Arizona. I graduated high school two years ago, and I am currently working towards becoming a nurse. As a part of that I volunteer at a local hospital holding babies in ICU. I live at home and I have one younger brother

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church. I have felt in my heart the knowledge that this is the true church. I know that my Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children. I have a testimony of Christ's atonement and why it is so important for us to get back to our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Everyday I try to live my life according to the standards of the gospel. I love learning about it and attending church activities. I try to serve others when I can.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Baptism is a saving ordinance for each person that comes to this earth. But, sometimes, circumstances can prevent people from receiving this ordinance in this life. We perform baptisms to help those who have passed away. We are helping them progress spiritually. If a person lived without being given this opportunity, some one can be baptised for them after they die. Show more Show less
