Hi I'm Jeanette

I live in Seattle, WA. I will graduate high school in 2016. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I play Lacrosse. I LOVE EFY (Especially For Youth). I am apart of Venturing. There is currently only about 15 LDS youth that go to my school of 900 kids. I am deciding ongoing on a mission. My favorite apostle is Pres. Uchtdorf.

Why I am a Mormon

So I was born in the church but it doesn't mean I don't have my own testimony. I know that Jesus is the Christ. I know that Jesus died and lived again so that we can be saved in the latter days. Without Jesus bearing our burdens we would have to all be perfect and that is really hard. We need repentance so that we can live with Heavenly Father once more. I know that if we stay anxiously engaged (D&C 58:27) in the gospel we will find the answers we have been searching for. I know that the Book of Mormon is completely true. There is no way that Joseph Smith could have made up the things in that book. I know that Pres. Monson is the true and living prophet. I know that Pres. Monson receives revelation from God and that what he says is true for us and the day that we live in.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is simply by participation. The summer of 2014 I attended a youth camp called Especially For Youth where you learn so much more about the gospel and how to live your life surrounded with the love of our Savior. I also live my faith by reading my scriptures daily and try to get more information about the topic I chose to read about. Another great and marvelous tool I use is Preach My Gospel or the little book that all the missionaries use. Preach My gospel is a beautiful thing because it takes topics from the scriptures and make them easier to understand and ultimately easier to talk to people about.
