Hi I'm Alexandra

I'm a teen growing up in Utah. I love school and learning. I love to read, and I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, and I love to write. Writing helps me express myself and get out emotions. I like gardening, and I love cats. I also like to paint. I love school and hard work. I love to learn, and I do really well in the school environment. At home, I have three crazy brothers that keep me on my toes. I love my family. I like to sing. I'm still not entirely sure what I'm going to do in the future, but I know that I would really like to serve a mission if possible. Most of all, I like being happy and doing the best that I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Almost my entire extended family is LDS, but we weren't LDS in my immediate family for a long time. We hopped from church to church trying to find the true church. We started taking the missionary lessons when I was eleven, and I was baptized. When I learned about the Church, it seemed as though I had been trying to live those standards my entire life. Everything I learned rang really true to me. I read the Book of Mormon and gained a testimony of its words. Living the Gospel has made me and my family extremely happy. I can tell that we have all changed for the better by joining the Church. I know this Church is the true church. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that reading the scriptures and saying prayers can get us closer to Him. I know that God loves me. I feel peace and happiness by being a Mormon, and I know that I'm becoming a better person.

How I live my faith

I start by trying to be the best person I can be. I help out around my house and within my family. I try to brighten people's days and do lots of service. I read my scriptures every day, and I pray at least twice a day. I attend my church activities. I attend church each Sunday. When we take the sacrament during church, I try to make it as meaningful as I can by thinking about repentance and what Jesus has done for us. I also go to the activities for the youth (ages 12-18), which are usually once a week. I try to be a good example of someone who follows Christ and keeps her standards high. I am always trying to strengthen my relationship with God and my faith in him.
