Hi I'm Melody

I am a homeschooling mom of 4. I was raised in the church. My husband and I run an insurance business. I am a Moromon.

About Me

I love to read and learn and change. I am a mom of 4 amazing kids and have been so blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom and raise them and teach them and see how their minds work and watch them grow into amazing youth. I can't imagine what life will be like when I no longer have this role. I want to freeze them where they are. My oldest will be serving a mission in a year. The time has flown by. My husband and I run an insurance brokerage and are self-employed. It is a blessing to have control of our time and the flexibility this gives us. We love to read books together and go on long walks together. We are always excited when we learn a new principle or go into depth in a subject and learn something new. We also love to travel. We were blessed to be able to live in Guatemala (where my husband served his mission) for one year with our kids. They loved it and so did we. We fell in love with the people there and look forward to visiting again soon. We love Florida living. My children are water bugs and we love to be out in the outdoors year round. We feel like we live in paradise.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Lord's church on earth today. I can't imagine my life without the gospel. As I've gone through trials in my life I have witnessed many miracles and I know that my Heavenly Father is always conscious of me and guiding my life. I feel so blessed! I am also a Mormon because I want to be sealed to my family for all time and eternity. I believe that the family is meant to be together forever.

How I live my faith

I feel that I live my faith by first serving in my home. I try to inspire a culture of learning, growth, and change in my home. We try to live a life that would help the spirit to dwell here in our walls. I also live my faith by serving at church with the youth. I love the youth. I love to help them feel my love and the love their Savior has for them. I try to also live my faith by being a great example in the business world. By letting our business associates know that we are a Christian faith.
